postcards from portugal
dear friends,
i recently had the pleasure of a week in the sun with an amazing friend. she’s someone i met through writing here. someone who astonishes me with her gentle spirit and creative nature.
somehow, we’d managed to find the perfect spot in the algarve, at praia da oura, in an apartment with a balcony from which we ate pretty much every meal.
we could see and hear the sea, as well as watch the sunrise and set. bliss.
the beach was lovely and the water just warm enough for a daily dip

i also had the immense pleasure of being a book fairy whilst on my travels

mmmmmm….so you are the secret little one that went with Caroline. She said hi from Portugal but never expanded on anything….oh! how I wish I was still in the UK to go on adventures with the two of you! Open hearts! I miss you xx
